The Story of Jaipur Hastkar
From a Small Home to a Living Legacy. The foundation of this journey was laid in 1980, when Munna Lal Chhipa learned the traditional art of hand block printing. Coming from Alwar, he began this work in very simple conditions, along with his wife Prem Lata Devi. There were no machines, no large setup—only wooden blocks, colours, and a deep dedication to the craft. A small corner of their home became their workshop, where they spent hours carefully printing fabrics by hand, focusing on every detail and every design with patience and precision. At that time, block printing was not widely known, but they believed in their work and in the beauty of this traditional art.
Gradual Growth and Recognition
With time, their hard work began to show results.
People started appreciating their designs,
and gradually, small orders began to come in.
Every order was treated with care and responsibility—
not just as work, but as a commitment to quality.
As the work grew, one thing never changed:
👉 their dedication to craftsmanship
👉 their commitment to quality
